After a hectic few years of back to back filming for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Chris Hemsworth has revealed that he is taking some time away from Hollywood so he can spend more time with his family.
Whilst speaking with the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Hemsworth said he doesn’t have any intentions of shooting a film this year and is electing to stay home with his wife and 3 young children.
“This year I probably won’t shoot anything. I just want to be at home now with my kids. They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before.”
Of course, Hemsworth has had a busy time outside of the Marvel world too, with Men in Black: International releasing in cinemas shortly and Dhaka releasing later this year.
The star has said he “would love to do more” as Thor with fans relishing the thought of the character teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy for Volume 3, aptly dubbed Asgardians of the Galaxy. Should Hemsworth star in the 3rd Guardians film, it will likely start production in mid to late 2020.
