Avengers: Endgame is currently breaking box office records. Spider-Man: Far From Home has set the internet ablaze with a new trailer and is due to hit cinemas July 2nd. But what comes after? Officially, no further films have been announced but release dates have been set for 8 films all the way to July 29th 2022. Unofficially, there are a variety of movies being worked on by Marvel Studios. But what films will be filling the next 3 years is a mystery. And it will remain that way until this summer, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
During the Walt Disney Company’s quarterly earnings call, Iger was asked about future MCU films and explained that Marvel Studios are preparing their own announcement on what’s in the pipeline, which will take place this summer.
It has been heavily speculated that the two films set to release in 2020 will be Black Widow and The Eternals, with further dates set for films such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Black Panther 2 and Doctor Strange 2.
